MONDAY MORNING WALKS

EVERY MONDAY throughout the year, come and discover easy to moderate walking paths in the area. It is a great way to explore while socializing. These 'drop in' walks last about an hour and are followed by coffee at a local café/bistro.

HIKING GROUP

EVERY FRIDAY while weather permits we will hike for 2-2.5 hours on trails that may include some hills or uneven ground. Moderate difficulty. Please bring poles if you have them and a snack/water as we will take a 15 min break halfway for refreshments.

CYCLE RIDES

​From May to September, weather permitting, we will be arranging cycle rides in different locations on a weekly basis on Wednesday mornings. Check the calendar for venues and just turn up at the allotted time. Please remember to wear a helmet at all times!

 SKIING/SNOWSHOEING

During the winter months we will have the occasional trip to Nickel Plate for skiing or snowshoeing. See calendar for dates. If you wish to carpool, please contact Jane 250 493-3590 or email.

GAMES NIGHT

Takes place on the third Saturday of the month. We will play cards and board games. Bring your own beverage. Sign up at the monthly meeting, or email Jackie

KNIT WITS

Knitters meet the FIRST WEDNESDAY of every month from October to June at a different member's home. The women in the group knit, crochet or do needle work. Want to learn how? Someone will be happy to help you get started. Sign up at the monthly meeting, phone Debbie 604-328-5706 or email

COFFEE CONNECTION

This 'drop-in' group meets the FIRST WEDNESDAY of every month throughout the year. The gals meet at the Penticton Golf & Country Club. All Newcomer Ladies are WELCOME to come by and enjoy an afternoon of chat and friendship. See you there!

PICKLEBALL

Players meet on Sunday afternoons at the Pickleball Court at Penticton Seniors' Drop-In Centre from April to October.  Bring running shoes and pickleball racquet. This activity is for recreational/fun/socializing. No need to sign-up; just come out and have fun!  Please check in with Darlene Beach (seated on the bleachers) before playing.

LIVE THEATRE FOLLOWED BY DINNER/SUPPER

Enjoy a performance at Many Hats, followed by dinner in a local restaurant where you can discuss the performance.  Details for each performance will be posted on the Special Events page.

LUNCH BUNCH

Come lunch with us on the SECOND WEDNESDAY of each month from October to June. What a great way to get to know people and dine at restaurants in the area. Sign up at the meeting or contact the Coordinator in advance for a reservation. If you have to cancel, PLEASE notify the Coordinator beforehand so your reservation and/or a seat isn't being saved for you.

BOCCE

Bocce is played on a 'drop-in' basis EVERY WEDNESDAY from April until the end of September. It takes about 5 minutes to grasp the concept of the game and NO experience is necessary. In fact, experience does not seem to improve one's game! Just snuggle up to that boccini...and you may be a winner! Refreshments and/or ice cream after.

BOWLING

Join us for a fun afternoon of 5 or 10 pin bowling! This activity runs from October to April on the THIRD WEDNESDAY of the month, 3 pm, at Roll N Stones Fun Center, Penticton. Sign up at the monthly meeting or contact Murray to play.

POOL NIGHT

Pool players meet the LAST THURSDAY of each month from September to May at Cue's on Main Street in Penticton.  Come early to enjoy Wings Night specials beforehand. We form groups of four, so please contact the Coordinators if you are unable to come and/or find a replacement.

GOLF

BOOK CLUB

​WALK & LUNCH

Takes place the last Saturday of the month from October to June.  Lunch destinations will vary each month with the walk taking approximately 20-30 minutes each way. Check the calendar for meeting place. This activity is mainly for members who have joined in the last 5 years, but is open to all. Please note that if you have mobility issues but would like to join us for lunch and conversation, you can meet us at our destination.
